Let go, and grow

Showing up every day

My process right now focuses on a consistent art practice. It is important to me to regularly devote time to developing my work, and entering the flow of creation. I am always surprised at what can happen when I just say yes to diving into action.

I start with warm up sessions (like throwing on the wheel, abstract painting exercises, or free drawing ) with no specific goal in mind. I then move to my current works in progress, finishing with a time to reflect on progress and discoveries, as well as setting up my next studio session.

This process provides structure and routine, which ironically brings me into the unpredictable and exhilirating flow of creating.

The soul should always stand ajar, ready to welcome the ecstatic experience.
